Sander Mölder is a classically trained composer, cellist and producer from Estonia, who came to the 2011 Academy in Madrid as a participant. In the years since he’s become a household name in the Baltic electronic music scene for bringing together modern classical and dance beats, performing at both London’s Royal Albert Hall and Barcelona’s Primavera Sound. Along with his solo dance EPs, he’s written music for opera, theatre and dance, cowritten a ballet that premiered at the Estonian National Opera, played in ensembles as an instrumentalist and ran a popular monthly soul event in Estonia called TIKS. In 2019, he picked up two awards at the Estonian Music Awards (Debut Album of the Year and Electronic Album of the Year) for his 2018 album _TIKS 068_. The follow-up, _TIKS 071_, reworks traditional Estonian folk music.
