Mark Maxwell is a DJ and producer from Brisbane, Australia, who came to the 2014 Academy in Tokyo as a participant. After working as a mechanical engineer by trade, he turned his focus to music – following the Academy, he became a resident DJ at Brisbane house-music party Prohibition, and in 2016, released original music on YesYes Records and Respect Music. In late 2018, Maxwell put out two collaborative EPs: _It’s Time_ with Alex Preston, on Motive Records; and _Give It Up_ with DJ James Ingram, on Let There Be House Records.
