Deltatron is a Peruvian producer and DJ who came to the 2014 Academy in Tokyo as a participant. Starting out with a sound that focused on electronic cumbia and Afro-Peruvian beats, he founded the label Terror Negro Records, which blends Latin American sounds such as cumbia, reggaeton and zouk with hip-hop infused styles like moombahton and trap. He's created an aggressive, multi-layered yet highly danceable sound for contemporary Latin club audiences. In 2017, he released his album _Ego Trip_ on Terror Negro – it's brash, stripped-down electronic reggaeton for hard raving. Outside of his original material, Deltatron has produced beats for rising Latin artists such as Tomasa del Real, Ms Nina, Inkas Mob and La Favi, among others.
