Adam Turner attended the 2001 Academy in New York City as a participant; a once-in-a-lifetime experience, he says. An enthusiastic record collector for over 20 years, Turner holds down several club residencies throughout the UK, most regularly at Cuban Exchange in Wolverhampton, Body People and Soul Fusion in Birmingham, and at the Vocal Booth Weekender in Alicante, Spain. Over the years Adam has played alongside key figures on the scene, including Louie Vega, Kenny Dope, Jimpster, Andre Lodemann and Mad Mats, to name a few. Focusing on melodic deep house and soul, and drawing influence from soul and disco, Turner’s love for grooves crosses genre lines.
