This Drum & Bass set is a carefully crafted studio mix that took 3 weeks to create, using a process much closer to music production than traditional DJing.
The theme behind this work is futuristic cities, inspired by films like Blade Runner. It’s a journey through the many diverse areas of a dystopian metropolis.
Expect to hear tunes you may recognise, but in completely new ways, as many were heavily edited & rearranged. In some cases, only their pads or atmospheric elements feature in the mix.
Each track was meticulously chosen to ensure it blended perfectly with those around it in a seamless and cinematic way, which is one of the main reasons it took so long to produce this work.
I presented this set live on Piranet Radio for my debut show on December 7th 2025, although Chris Savior showcased the 1st hour of it on his DBS show the day before.
