I met Gavin 14 years ago. Since then, we have worked together. Made magic, hung out tough, and had numerous great late night/early morning conversations. He showed me around Burning Man for the first time. He was a person I could call if I were feeling down, and he would lift me up with his infectious love and passion for life. He loved to talk about art and lights. He asked me to paint a backdrop for 1313 Effect, which I am so glad I finished (with the help of family and friends. Shout out to Jesse and JOAT Studios). I miss him every day, but I can still hear his voice inside my head, cheering me on, giving words of encouragement.
