Seeing a remembrance published in late January of his friend Ernesto "Teto" Ocampo by British producer and musician Richard Blair, I learned that Ocampo had died in September and I realized what an integral part the guitarist, arranger, composer, producer, indigenous flutist was of four excellent Colombian music projects - Carlos Vives' vallenato recordings, the rock band Bloque, Ocampo's indigenous project Mucho Indio, and Blair's Colombia/UK Sidestepper.
