Description
Jan. 23 - Being called The Day the Music Died in Southern Africa: Hugh Masekela (2018), Oliver Mtukudzi (2019), and now South Africa's Jonas Gwangwa, composer/trombonist and director for 10 years of the Amandla ANC Cultural Group. We also remembered two more who died recently - multi-instrumentalist Howard Johnson (pennywhistle and tuba in these two tracks) and pianist Junior Mance, who died at 92 after an amazingly long career.
