French producer Jean-Philippe Allard passed at 67 on May 17. He branched out later but started in jazz, producing artists as great as Charlie Haden, Hank Jones, Abbey Lincoln, Ornette Coleman, Stan Getz and Randy Weston, a lot of them later in their careers. Many artists held him in the highest regard as a producer because of his love of jazz and respect for them as creators. A mostly relaxed tempo set from some things I had.
