Begins with a set of Jon Hendricks, who grew up in Toledo and returned late in life as a Professor at the University of Toledo. His work also starts a couple of the other sets, which have a lot of jazz vocal, in at least five different languages. Musical respects are also paid to Ben Riley and George Avakian.
