Weird Pies, Strange Pasties

A few years ago I did a mix called 'Autonomous Tibetan Orphan Press' which was made up of indie 45s I had purchased from the local independent Spinadisc over many years of being a customer- it was a sort of polar oppostite to a RSD mix - I loved the endless supply of small label 45s you'd find in your local independent record shop, you know the Static Caravan, Earworm, Kooky, Awkward Silence, Sarah, CHÉ, Burnt Hair - that sort of thing is rare nowadays as the producution press times and cost are just too much for a small label to cope with
