So we are up to Volume 3 of the Femme Folk Funk. Some of the big guns have gone in the previous 2 volumes but hopefully although some of the records on this mix aren't as well known the standard hasn't dropped off too much.
The mix starts with the lovely Xian track from "Nancy Honeytree" near the end of the recording she makes a mistake with the lyrics but I guess they didn't have the money for another take. Oh and listen out for "Erica Pomerance" her track "If I Could" has a drum beat that stumbles and falls all over the place and some wonky vocals a bit "Fifty Foot Hose" ~ Also the very odd space synth sample noises on the "Gary & Sandy" track.
