So where did it all start? London, Manchester, Belgium, New York, Chicago? Probably all. And when did it start? You cannot pinpoint when and where. 1980s? 70s? 60s? Yes to all, possibly. In this new series, we shall start our journey with house, hip hop, early techno and disco as we travel through the 1970s and beyond. The Chicago house scene really took the country by storm. Artists were making tunes with a heavy acid house influence. And the ravers loved it. And a lot of these tunes were sampled heavily into the hardcore rave scene. To quote S'Express, enjoy this trip!
