Ok, bit of a personal one. I discovered some amazing new music on Kiss FM while scanning channels late night. No one I knew was listening to this stuff at the time. It's hard finding an identity when you are thrown into a mostly male environment at an early age (boarding school). After years of listening to The Cure, Depeche Mode and then Indie, that was fast crossing over to house and rave etc. I found Colin Faver and Colin Dale playing the most bizarre stuff Id ever heard, not your usual house beats. I was instantly hooked and here we are 35 years later. It's still fresh, sadly we lost our brother Colin Faver a few years ago. May he rest in peace! Colin Dale is still bringing these flavours and can happily call him a mate now. We met up last summer and he thankfully signed the tape sleeve which makes it extra special! Anyway, it's a 35 year old tape recording, stop, record, stop record. You know the drill!
