Chevon Andre Rutty is a new artist with a style all his own. Born in Jamaica and bred in Spring Valley, Rutty has been singing since he was eight, when he attended his sister's singing lesson; the teacher jokingly asked him to sing, he did to the teachers surprise he had real potential. Now at the age of twenty Chevon draws inspiration from an eclectic group of singers; he names John Mayer, Celine Dion and Chris Brown as some of the artists who inspire him. On tracks Chevon's style reflects his affinity for R&B while, as an artist, he also is interested in Hip Hop, Pop and Reggae. Chevon is not a stranger to performing and at ten he appeared on Broadway's Eugene O'Neil theater in Carolina or Change. He has also performed in several other local plays as well as appearing in Television and Radio Commercials. He's focused and ready and no matter what he's doing he's trying to have fun. He's outgoing and he's always meeting new people. Press Contact:
