Description
ANOMALi
hears the funk beyond genres. refreshes the old, breaks in the new, rewinds the played-out, and makes the never-heard sound strangely familiar.
old dog, no tricks.
infectious rhythms in places you'd never think to look, and may never see the same way again.
MINDFUNK.
tracks from different decades, across genres, all with a common denominator: sticky, groovy, sexy funk.
ANOMALi salutes the funk in passé hits, guilty pleasures, weathered classics & passing fancies, juxtaposed against a rich tapestry of...
everything but the girl and the kitchen sink, in a live DJ set recorded at Café Curieux, Makati.
so if you and your bffs try to sing along by screaming that MGMT line... oops, who ya gonna call? NIRVANA!
before you decry the outright disrespect for your "anthem", don't take it personally. his sense of humour shows a sense of you more.
MINDFUNK.
