SOUL for Don Cornelius Part 2 (No Turn Unstoned #185)

(September 27, 1936 – February 1, 2012)

This is the 2nd mix of two in tribute to Don Cornelius. He wanted to showcase black people on television in a positive light and he did just that for 35 years. His influence can never be diminished.

Part 1 was very old school, featuring nothing but funk and groove, and part 2 returns to our usual No Turn Unstoned eclectic format.

There are two soul train themes in this mix:

1978-1980: Soul Train Theme '79 by the Hollywood Disco Jazz Band
