First of all, Happy New Year to all of my listeners! I'm glad to get back to the show.
This is the 2nd set of 4 best of 2011 sets. This one features the best songs of 2011 and is by far my favorite show to mix each year. The last set featured the top 10 albums of 2011. Next week will be the best remixes of 2011, and the following week the originals of the remixes.
Even though Africa Hitech's Out in the Streets is hands down song of the year, generally I didn't include songs that I played during the best albums of 2011 mix in order to not be repetitive.
This mix does include a few songs from 2010, most notably if they were released in November or December of 2010. However, there are a couple songs from 2010 that were released earlier than that, that I just could not stop playing throughout the entire year of 2011.
