#gtalksradio present: LTE is Lateshia’s open-format, cybernetic DJ persona. Lateshia is a first-generation Caribbean American from Long Island. They started DJing after being inspired by the eclectic nightlife collective called unborn sounds based in Seoul, Korea. Since then she’s been practicing on her DDJ-400 in their bedroom, they’ve booked gigs for college parties, galleries and a radio station. They plan to begin an auditory project this year called @planetcyberblank highlighting contemporary artists with genre-bending sonics and otherworldly visuals through a hybrid DJ and radio set format.
@gtalksradio x @newtownradio is an ongoing interview series that centers young emerging creatives in New York City to share their stories to inspire and connect with like minded people. In every episode, the creators will take over an hour to DJ and share more about themselves through short interviews.
