Gilo - In terms of my musical interests, I guess it really began in my late teens in the mid 90’s. Britpop was at it’s peak and I was most definitely team Oasis. By the turn of the century, this was when I really started getting into gigs, as I had started working full time and had disposable income to burn (apart from paying a little bit of board to the old dear). Being Midlands based, I could regularly be found in places such as The Wulfrun, The Civic, The Little Civic & The Varsity (Wolvo) as well as the Carling Academy (o2 these days and in a different location) and Barfly (Brum). I also remember some hazy nights and bad shapes being thrown in Blast Off!! As I have got older, my tastes in music have widened and become more eclectic, but indie will always be my first love.
