DJ LUIGI LUGEZ for Waves Radio #2 - The Progressive Reverse by Luigi Lugez
Airs every 2nd Monday of each month at 9pm CET on www.waves-radio.webnode.gr
Luigi Lugez's October mix for Waves Radio takes a progressive reverse to search for the beginnings of progressive house and trance from the early 1990s, According to discogs.com, the foundations of progressive house were laid in the U.K and the sound is characterized by average tempo of 125 BPM; a dubby, galloping/chugging bassline; and a dreamy, spacey atmosphere. It is a combination of house and trance, with the soulful, booty-shaking elements toned down and replaced by long chords and dubby ear candy.
