Description
Back in 1991, I came home & I noticed the separation of House. Southside & North side had 2 different playlists as a working DJ. Mind you, I kept up with all the nu-nu from my best friend DJ Magic while he lived in D.C./Reston. So I noticed when I went north of Michigan, it was lock-step with what I had already got plus some(thanks Grammaphone, Hot Jamz, Dave's Records and other spots). Fast forward to '93-'99. During this time, I was on WGCI; I bought or was sent a lot of heat that wasn't part of the South Side repertoire but everytime I played at the Tropicana Club, Sanctuary, the Prop House, Liquid, Red Dog, Elixir, China Club, the Shelter, Red No. 5, Funky Buddah, Convent, Vinyl, Sub-T or Evil Olive, THIS is what I had in my crate.
