Description
Richie Anderson began producing acid and techno music in 1992, with releases on obscure hard techno labels such as ‘Kill Out’ and ‘Drop Bass Network’ under various guises.
Each 'The Goldarndest Mixtapes' show will follow a theme which is represented within the music played. If you are interested in contributing to Richie’s research, please get in touch.
This month's show's theme is Hard Glitch. It's the sister show to December's show 'Glitching Me Softly'. Again, the show features glitch techniques - sounds of malfunctioning audio; decaying machinery, and rhythmic techniques that challenge the sense of pulse and meter, that are a-quantised or just staggeringly syncopated. You can dance, but this glitch goes not softly but rages at the light.
