The Beatriarchy are a safe, inclusive online community which aims to amplify underrepresented groups such as womxn, LGBTQ+, Black, Asian and other ethnic minorities in the underground electronic music scene. Run by DJs Kitsta and Gracie T from Manchester and Sheffield respectively, The Beatriarchy was born from Gracie being mansplained to one too many times on white male-dominated tuneshare groups.
This month, new London-based collective Revulvas take over The Beatriarchy's show! Revulvas is a multidisciplinary arts collective, celebrating art from the margins and smashing genres and genders in club culture. In this show, Jezebelle and Lovelace will go back to back, exploring some of their favourite tracks with attitude, across electro, ghetto, breaks and techno. Revulvas are currently taking submissions for their first event, Kinetic Bliss, which will take place later this year.
