Alex Vidrada, a DJ and music selector from Kyiv, Ukraine, presents a show delving into the Ukrainian jazz scene. This show focuses on contemporary jazz driven by a Kyiv-based community called Fusion.
Fusion is a wild bunch of young musicians who decided to ignore the conservative and dismissive view on jazz and hip-hop music in Ukraine. They started throwing jam parties which eventually formed a strong community of jazz lovers and musicians who share the vibes.
The Fusion team is now embarked on a mission of promoting Ukrainian music both locally and internationally and giving a launch pad for Ukrainian jazz artists. They founded a No Time For Swing label in 2023 with their first release Blakyt.
