THE PETE SMITH NORTHERN SOUL SHOW 2023 # 14 – CASINO - SOMETHING REALLY SPECIAL

A good friend of ours, Dave Shaw, passed away nearly 2 weeks back. Dave was an old Wigan boy from Wolverhampton and you may know him by the book he wrote, Casino, generally considered to be one of the if not THE best book written about the Casino. So I asked if anyone would like to contribute towards his funeral costs and we raised £4000 in 24 hours. I asked those who contributed to pick a track to play on a special show, and this is the result, all picked by the lovely people who sent in funds for Dave. Apart from about three which I chose cos it’s my Birthday tomorrow 😊 The track selection is FANTASTIC and this is one of the all time great Pete Smith Mixcasts.
