One thing that really bugs is people who say "Wigan played pop music", of course that's usually people who never actually went and all they've heard of are dregs like Joe 90. Wigan played the best music anywhere, and to prove my point tonight I'm going to play a set of nothing but newies that were played in 1979, way after people said that Northern Soul was dead. This could be the best thing you hear this year :-)
