THE 300 GREATEST NORTHERN SOUL OLDIES - PART ONE (300-226)

I'm going to be attempting something pretty ambitious, I will be counting down the Top 300 Northern Soul Oldies Of All Time. All selections chosen by a panel of experts. Well one actually. Me. But it'll be good! I'll do them in segments of 75 at a time over a week. This is going to be a lot of fun and you'll hear some great records.
The only qualification was that I had to have the records on 7" vinyl, whether original, reissue, carver, whatever, as long as it plays on a deck. Otherwise I could have used MP3's and I would think 100 new choices would be in.
Anyway look, you may not like my choices but it'll still be enjoyable to listen to - and it's not all 60's either...sound quality might be a bit dodgy in parts due to the vinyl and my set up. If you can't see a track list I will post one in comments ok. The countdown starts at number 300 with Don Varner - unfortunately my numbered countdown list won't paste so it's numbering them 1 to 75 but it is in reverse order remember.
