Yes I know I don’t usually play 70’s Soul but I don’t hate it like everyone thinks I do – I just don’t like the stuff that was played at the end of the decade which bears no relation to what I know as “Northern Soul” – most of the 70’s dancers I liked are still built around a 4/4 beat and are uptempo. All my selections were big records between 1973 and 1978, the majority are from 1974 to 1976. Anyway see what you think… all recorded from lovely vinyl (but unfortunately in mono, I forgot to switch it to stereo)
