Pete Smith Northern Soul Selection (couldn't think of a title!)

I gave up trying to think of an original title for this one. Forty brilliant tracks this time folks, only a handful of these have previously appeared on my podcasts (Joanie Sommers and the Yum Yums crop up frequently –Yum Yums is my all time favourite Northern sound). A couple are requests (I wouldn’t have chosen the Del Larks for a start!), a couple are things I think more people should hear (Robert Plant’s incredible UK stormer for instance), some are things I’d forgotten how brilliant they were (Imperial C’s, Voices, Ruby etc) and there’s enough super-rarities to keep everyone happy here I think, along with a smattering of oldies and even a couple of cheapies.
