Disaster struck last night, my beloved Citronic disco decks died on me, the left turntable kept slowing down and speeding up – so I had to abandon the mix I was doing (about an hour of it was recorded so I may still post that). Anyway after sulking for 10 minutes I wondered if I could set up a couple of decks and a mixer, which I did, and to pay tribute to my old decks I did a Northern stompers special…it might be a bit rough and ready and badly mixed, and there’s a bit of electrical static on there as well I think but hey what the heck, loads of top tunes here. Not sure what the sound quality is like throughout but the bits I did listen to are ok. This morning, a friend showed me how to fix the problem with the old decks, and it worked. All hail Ozz and my old Citronic decks.
