Music has been part of my life since I was six. By 13, I was driving my parents crazy with it. At 16, I took to the decks at private parties, school events and church discos, exploring Italo Disco, Chicago House and Acid.
At 18, I worked the lights in local clubs. By 21, electronic beats had my heart. My first Mayday in 1992 marked a turning point, followed by a residency in my hometown. Carl Cox, Sven Väth, DJ Hooligan, DJ Taucher and Steve Mason helped shape my sound.
After 12 years away from the decks, I returned in 2022 with fresh energy and the same passion. Today, DJ_MAXXLOVE1970 brings those roots into every set, connecting classic influences with new sounds.
The decks were silent for a while. The love for music never was.
