In 1972 Aldo Sinesio creates Horo Records, one of the very first "independent record labels" documenting some of the greatest creators of jazz music at the time neglected, especially by the great potentates of record industry, constantly indifferent to culture,especially if little inclined to compromise. First Italian record label dedicated to contemporary jazz, the HORO was to mark a turning point in the Italian cultural industry. The HORO was not born with the simple and pragmatic trappings of a commercial firm, more or less exciting or risky: behind it there was and there is a man, an intellectual able to make a clear choice of the field, that in jazz had found also a correspondence to its ideological conception of life.
