"The Allo Love comps came about to showcase the personal tastes and Wah Wah favourites of the people behind the imprint and the artists signed to label. Putting together the first compilation was a huge pleasure - being able to cherry pick some special releases for me from Wah Wah 45s as well as help highlight music from musical friends and contemporary heroes that had influenced me. After Scrimshire's edition we thought we'd open it out to artists on the label like Stac, Lea Lea and Paper Tiger, and more recently Wah Wah originator Chris Goss has delivered his selection, in what must be one of the finest editions of the series. The title comes from the way we tend to greet each other and hopefully reflects the warm and cuddly nature of the label! Bye love."
