An homage to the tapes, the walkmen that changed how we all listen to music and incorporate it (physically and mentally) into our daily lives, the car as a unique (and underappreciated) listening space, the nissan micra, the renault and the volvo respectively. The mix tape and the joy of turning the tape over just to have the surprise of the other side! Bringing it full circle with a piece I taped off the radio. An attempt to make it more coherent by adding the narrative of my "Turtles" video tape. A farewell to 3 years of Ceoil na Cruinne in Raidio na Life with some of the music that made me want to start the show (particularly the Bartok), 3 years of hopefully sharing the fun with some of the good folks out there in Radioland.
