For this Iso Rockers Radio special, I really wanted to challenge myself and step a little outside my comfort zone. This mix is a 2-hour deep dive into the music of the legendary badman pianist Eddie Palmieri. His piano playing has always blown me away. Percussive, wild, and soulful, and pulling this together reminded me just how much he changed the game. From his early La Perfecta days through to Grammy-winning masterpieces, Eddie’s Latin jazz sound is nothing short of revolutionary. He passed on August 6th 2025 at the ripe old age of 88, but these records still feel as alive as ever.
