This is the first mix in the Low Light Spotlight series. These sets will each focus on a single artist. For this first entry I choose William Basinski - first because Disintegration Loops is one of the best ambient albums of all time and second because I've been listening to his latest release quite a bit.
This mix opens and closes with Disintegrations Loops dlp 1.1. But the version that appears at the end of the set is a terrific live performance by the Wordless Music Orchestra on the tenth anniversary of the Sept. 11th attacks.
