Angola is one of few lusophone countries of the world that demanded their independence from Portugal on 11/11/1975 the MPLA communist party with the help of Cuban PCC was able to defeat Portugal but with cost of now fighting another rising Democratic Party in Angola sparking the Angolan civil war for over 30 years there was violence but as all people of resistance know with heartbreak and violence pours out rich arts and music-from very limited resources ••••••••••••••••Angolans have constantly created new sounds from the dance/electro of Kuduro to Angolan Death Metal to Cuban influence of Merengue and the classic guitar players who I think are the best of the world.
