Hello people, Phlossie here 🪐

This mix is a particular sound that I really really love and enjoyed putting together. The inspiration for it comes from my early years and introduction in to electronic music as I just used to copy whatever my brother listened to which comprised of Jeff Mills, Carl Cox, Honey Dijon etc.

I would say it has strong groove-led house notes mixed with a bit of soft techno. As an autistic person, I have an intense connection to music and need to feel good whilst playing it and all of these songs produce a ‘brain itch’ for me and I hope it does for you guys too!

I hope to play more of these genres and sub genres more frequently as it is something I love learning about with regard to its origins from Detroit and how it has evolved over the years.
