Robert OByrne who has recently published A Vanishing World - a fantastic record of some of Fr Frank Brownes superb photos taken in Mid 20th century of houses of landed gentry while still in private ownership with all their furniture and art work present. He also has a historical note accompanying each house . Sadly very few are still privately owned some have vanished others are luxury hotels and some open to public to enjoy.
