Brisbane-based dark rock outfit Killtoys returns with a ferocious and poetic new EP, Rituals in the Abyss, the second release in the ongoing collaborative project Exquisite Corpses, a partnership with Irish artist pMad and transatlantic duo Lunar Paths (UK/USA). The concept began with an experimental twist on the classic surrealist game Exquisite Corpse — where each artist submits a rhythm or percussion track, which is then anonymously reimagined by the others without hearing the original full song. The results are visceral, unpredictable, and wildly original. Following Lunar Paths’ EP Consequences, Killtoys now present three new tracks, the first of which, "Voices" featuring pMad is on tonight's show!
