As a school kid in the early 70s, i spent more time than money in my local record shops. These label 'sampler' albums were cheap and full of new weird stuff. I've sub-samples four of the most iconic: El Pea; Bumpers & Nice Enough to Eat (all Island) and The Age of Atlantic.
