April 2020 - This is a collection of newer electronic dance music that was often in my bag when we did the Bahnsteig 23 shows at Sameheads in Berlin. Some of the tracks reached the turntables and some didn't, I usually brought way too many records with me to those shows - including a time where I had to buy a new hold bag at the airport because I'd brought twice the amount of records I should have for carry on luggage. Anyway, I think of this as slow techno, it has a certain flavour of old industrial and wave records but aimed at modern dancefloor late at night when the smoke machine and strobe are going and you just get lost in the dancing trance.
