John Keyworth - Geisha Nights 8

Geisha Nights Volume 8 is the forth mix for September 2011 celebrating 40 years of Keyworth. So who was it that said a baby (or age) would kill your hobbies? Meh, I fart in your general direction!

This time around we got thumping underground Tech House. To the untrained or disinterested ear, Tech House may seem a little repetitive, but for those of us who love getting sweaty in the thick of the dance floor with a big daft grin, bouncing around to the relentless grooves, the thumping kick drums, the tribal percussion loops and the deep bass lines, then there ain’t nothing like it on the planet. You just have to be there!

I find mixing this stuff a hoot as you can really got to town with ludicrously long crossfades that can go for almost a whole song. These uptempo grooves kick off on a funky note and just keep on building all the way through the mix getting harder and harder, ending with an old Adeva acapella laid over
