We first met John in San Diego last summer during his US Northern Exposure tour We were expecting this big ego DJ to arrive at the airport, instead this down to earth guy walked off the plane, looking like your next door neighbour rather than a superstar DJ We were Digweed fans, and had played all his CDs in our design studio, reminding us of home....England. That night he played at our Boxfresh US launch party,. Up to the point that John played it felt like just another rave, but after the first one or two tracks into his set. you realised that it was going to be no ordinary night. For the next four hours. John transported the crowd into another dimension. During the set John fainted from exhaustion, he had toured the US non-stop for 21 days! Most DJ's would have called it a night, but John missed one track and came back to play for another amazing 2 hours We only spent 24 hours with him, but I like to think we can call him.
