Supertramp recorded at Queen Mary College in London in 1977 The group was formed in 1969 as Daddy, but luckily they changed their name to become one of the most popular British groups in the 1970s. Roger Hodgson was also in the group from the very beginning and was responsible for writing some of the biggest hits for the group, including Dreamer and Give A Little Bit.The band had their first album in 1970 called Supertramp and appeared at the Isle Of Wight festival that year. Money problems and other band members coming and going did not really get the band off to the right start.
Longer term members included John Helliwell, Bob Siebenberg and Douggie Thompson. https://hits-of-the-70s-the-best-decade.blogspot.com/2012/07/in-70s-supertramp.html
