His radio shows ere not planned by computer but by him. He was such a maverick that despite being sacked many times he was always back as the public adored him.

He was gay and married to a woman and died in 1995 from an HIV related illness.

Although long dead he still is voted as the best DJ ever, and if it was not for him Queen may have never released that classic song.
