Description
And Johnnie’s joined by Marcella Detroit, the co-writer of two major Eric Clapton hits in the 1970s.
She’s best known as the vocalist on Stay by Shakespear’s Sister, one of the most distinctive no.1 hits of the Nineties, but Marcy was already a music business veteran by then, having played and toured with Bob Seger, Leon Russell and Clapton. Together with Eric, she co-wrote Lay Down Sally and Wonderful Tonight, so she’ll be chatting about her memories of those times and the music that influenced her too.
Tracks Include Eric Clapton David Bowie Sly And The Family Stone Gordon Lightfoot The Jam
