Brian Johnson spent much of the 1970s trying to make it in rock n' roll. He very nearly did; his band Geordie even made it on to 'Top Of The Pops' and things were looking up. However, it wasn't to be and he ended the decade back at home in the North East, fixing vinyl roofs on to cars for a living. Little did he know that in the next decade, he'd be catapulted to superstardom by fronting one of the best selling rock bands of all time. He's the unmistakable voice of AC/DC, but Brian is much more than that. He's a story teller, a raconteur and one of the best guys in the business. His new book, 'The Lives of Brian' brings all his stories to life. In this special interview, which will be continued on Johnnie's Radio 2 Rock Show on the 23rd of December, Brian talks about his life in the '70s, pre AC/DC.
