Welcome to the Room4Movement weekly series of mixes.
For those of you who don’t know, Room4Movement (or R4M) is a longstanding club night in London hosted by the Uprock / Jazz re:freshed crew. The night was started out of a love of Black music, dance and club culture.
In this series of R4M mixes, the wide range of music and genres that we play at the club nights are represented, from Hip Hop, to Jazz, Soul, Brokenbeat, Afrobeat, Afro-Brasilian, Afro-Cuban, Rare Groove and beyond.
We attempt to take you through mini journeys through dance music, embracing all eras and tempos, in each mix - past, present and future facing - to give you a sample of what we do at Room4Movement.

To kick off the R4M mix series, we take an eclectic journey through soul, hip hop, Afro-latin and African, with some broken, house or whatever, bringing it home.
